All orders and purchases made through this website or sales order forms are subject to the following terms and conditions. By placing an online order through our website, via email or over the phone, you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
3. Availability of Products
Every effort will be made to satisfy your order. If, for any reason, we cannot supply a product you have ordered, we will let you know over the phone or contact you using the details provided by you at the checkout process to amend, cancel or put your order on backorder as agreed with you. If you choose to put your order on backorder, we will contact you to arrange for delivery once the product is available.
All of our prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax).
We reserve the right to refuse or decline an order if the listed product contained incorrect information or pricing due to a data entry error. Should a product be purchased at an incorrect price Zest Lighting reserves the right to terminate agreement and correct product prices. In this case we will issue a refund immediately.
5. Images and Product Information
Product descriptions and specifications have been created with the intention to help customers understand the product, however, some products descriptions may contain technical or typographical errors. Whilst every effort is made to make product descriptions as accurate as possible, errors may unintentionally occur. We do not provide any warranty or guarantee that the product information is accurate. If an error is made we will correct the information as soon as possible.
Also, please note that product images on this website are from manufacturers and are taken professionally under correct lighting conditions. Moreover, various computers and pre-set screen resolutions vary. These factors may cause images to vary slightly from the actual product.
6. Inaccuracy Disclaimer
From time to time there may be information on our Web Site or in our catalogue that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. Errors will be corrected as they are discovered and Zest Lighting reserves the right to revoke any offer, correct any error, omission or inaccuracy at any time (including after an order has been placed).

Zest Lighting is absolutely committed to providing you the best designs in lighting at the best possible prices.
If you happen to find a better-advertised price on an identical product that's in stock somewhere else, we will beat it by 5%.
Our best price guarantee applies to the total price of the product (product cost + shipping cost). So if the total price is less than ours (product cost + shipping cost), we will beat it by 5%.
The comparison applies only to retailers in Australia that have the identical product in stock with correct pricing.
Must be based on brand new products and excludes non-retail, private sales, membership clubs, and auction websites.

All orders placed through this website are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Zest Lighting.
After you place an order on Zest Lighting, we will send you an email confirmation with all relevant details regarding your order including your order number and invoice.
If there are any problems with your order (i.e. item out of stock) then we will contact you ASAP via phone or email.
Zest Lighting currently accepts credit or debit card, PayPal What is Paypal? and Direct Deposit Payments.
The payable amount will be the amount specified in the order form.
Payment for orders will be processed immediately upon confirmation of your order, including for products that are listed as on pre-sale.
Full payment is required before any product/s can be dispatched.
We offer free delivery to metro Australia. For all areas outside this denomination, including what may be classified as ‘regional’ by our carriers, you will pay only $29.95 flat rate shipping. We deliver Australia wide.
To meet your delivery requirement in the best way possible, we use a variety of carriers who deliver anywhere within Australia. The size of your order and location will have an impact on how fast we can get your order to you.
Zest Lighting will attempt to dispatch items that are in stock within 2 working days from the date specified in the order. Where special orders are taken, we will quote dispatch times accordingly.
Estimated delivery times from dispatch are:
- Melbourne, Sydney - within 5 business days.
- Adelaide - within 7 business days.
- Brisbane, Perth - approximately 5 to 10 business days.
Please allow up to 10 business days from dispatch for non-metro and rural deliveries.
*Please note that these are estimates and our carriers will endeavour to meet these on all occasions; however please allow up to 10 business days for all deliveries.
We will do our best to deliver your order promptly. We will notify you if we are unable to meet our estimated delivery time frame but, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
Items will be delivered to the address you provided while placing an order.
We are unable to accept any responsibility for your order if you choose to have your order left without the carrier obtaining a signature.
Estimated delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
If your order is delivered by a courier service and the specified recipient is unable to accept delivery, a card will be left at the premises. Please be sure to contact the courier service and arrange an alternative time and date for delivery.
If the order was left unclaimed courier depot, the products will come back to Zest Lighting warehouse. We will then contact you by phone or email and we reserve the rights to impose an additional delivery fee.
Due to size and overall weight considerations as well as regional post code deliveries, please accept that we may have to quote for shipping charges separately when item(s) purchased exceed our shipping size and post code limits - charges per item will be quoted on a case by case basis.
11. Risk and Title
Zest Lighting will retain the title to the products you order until you have made payment in full for those products. Title to and risk in the products will pass to you upon delivery from our courier partners. In circumstances where Zest Lighting is required to hold goods for customers, we will hold for a maximum of 3 months on behalf of the customer - after this term, if customer fails to confirm delivery, title goes back to us (no refunds will be issued).
12. Returns and Refund
Zest Lighting offers a full refund (excluding our outbound shipping cost) or exchange for change of mind purchases within a 30-day period with proof of purchase (website order confirmation email).
Should your goods be faulty or damaged upon receipt, we will offer a full refund, replacement or exchange in accordance with its obligations under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (“Act”). It is the customer's responsibility to check for damage and claim within 7 days of receiving a product. No claims recognised after 7 days from the date of delivery.
To initiate the return process, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org, clearly stating your situation and specifying the product(s) you would like to return.
- Products that have been installed cannot be returned for a change of mind refund/exchange.
- Product that have been used cannot be returned for a change of mind refund/exchange.
- Product must be in its original box and in a resalable condition.
- Customer pays for returns shipping and is responsible for its safe arrival back to our warehouse.
- Customer must check for physical damage or fault upon receipt and claim for a refund, replacement or exchange within 7 days of receiving a product.
- Products may differ from those pictured on the website due to natural variations in colour/finish and scale of the image.
- Must be returned within 30 day period of receiving the order
- Custom (made to order items) must be paid for in full at time of ordering and amount of deposit paid cannot be refunded for change of mind. Full balance must be paid prior to dispatch of custom order and full amount cannot be refunded or credited due to change of mind.
To the extent permitted by law, Zest Lighting:
- limits its obligations and liability for the repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price of any goods to its obligations under the Act;
- is not liable for any contingent, consequential or punitive damages arising in anyway whatsoever in relation to the use of any goods; and
- is not liable for any claim, loss or expense incurred by any person resulting from the delivery, non-delivery or return of any goods.
The goods we offer for sale on our website are covered by the warranty given by the manufacturer of the goods. If your lights show signs of damage or fault within the warranty period, please email us at email@example.com to obtain the relevant manufacturers details. We do not provide any separate warranty in relation to the goods that you purchase, other than those required under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law).
Replacement warranty only covers the replacement of the product and does NOT cover any additional electrical or equipment charges, charged by electrical contractors.
If there is an issue with your light after installation, Zest Lighting will supply the parts necessary for replacement - labour and equipment costs are excluded however.
Please be aware that for some parts and replacements there may be a lead-time.
The warranty is void if any part of the luminaire is modified.
Zest Lighting does not offer a warranty on light bulbs.
Product warranties are only valid within Australia. Warranty does not apply to international orders.
Warranties start from date of purchases stated on the invoice provided. Be sure to keep your tax invoice as proof of purchase. To request another copy please contact our customer service team via email and include your name and order number. Also, in some cases, the manufacturers require that their products are installed by qualified electricians. Therefore, we highly recommend that you keep the invoice from your electrician in case it is required as part of a warranty claim.
For any items that are either "Damaged in Transit", "Dead on Arrival" or "Missing From Your Order" you must contact us within 7 calendar days of remittance. These items will be replaced as soon as the necessary procedures have been adopted.
All events such as physical damage, abuse, misuse, unauthorised repair or tampering with a product may prevent a product from being accepted as a fault under warranty.
14. Liability and indemnity
Subject to applicable law, Zest Lighting will not be liable for any losses, damages, claims or expenses (incidental, special, exemplary, direct, indirect, consequential or other) arising from the use of our site, products purchased from our site or arising from the use of products purchased on our site.
You agree to indemnify and hold Zest Lighting and its officers and employees harmless from any claims of any nature (including legal costs) by any third party arising out of, or in connection with, your use of the Zest Lighting website.
15. Replica Lighting Disclaimer
Zest Lighting replica products are not manufactured or approved by, or affiliated with, or endorsed by the original designers or manufacturers - In other words, they are not an original which is sold under licence. Also, we do not claim that our replica is exactly like the original in construction, design or application. Zest Lighting Replicas products are copies of the original by Zest Lighting and is not the original.
17. Legal Capacity
By purchasing a product on Zest Lighting you are warranting that you are over 18 years of age and ability to make a legally binding contract.
If the purchase is made by a minor using our website and any damages or losses are suffered as a result, Zest Lighting reserves the right to seek compensation for all losses incurred from the parents or guardians of the minor who made the transaction.
